Few Steps DIY

It's pretty cool to have some minimal-styled bag on your hands.

- Like Jil Sander Kraft Paper Clutch

Still it may sound difficult to be done on few steps only.

Thus, I made little amendment on the design.

Using PU leather could be a great choice

cause you might simply extract from old sofa

and no over-stitch at the edges as no fringe there.

Other materials like kraft paper, canvas or plastic film are Okay as well.

First, prepare 2 PU leathers in the same size (i.e. 38X27 for mine one)

Then, Stitching the edges as picture below.

Using domestic sewing machine is enough or

hand stitching is totally alright but make sure the stitch size is small enough.

Since small distance in each stitch could help secure the holding force.

Second, bend the bag bottom like this and stitch the two sides

 

Fold the bag outward.

End-product as below ;)
